    A PET-CT is a nuclear medicine imaging test used commonly to detect a range of cancers, heart diseases, neurological conditions, infections and PUO (Pyrexia of Unknown Origin). Radioactive glucose is injected and then taken up by tissues, which are in fasting state in your body. Activity within your body is then detected by the PET scanner which shows how tissue and organs are working. This test is most commonly used for Detection, Staging and Treatment Response for the Cancer in the body.

    Kindly Note this is only an advance amount deposit for booking your medicine dose and appointment for the PET-CT Scan. The earliest available appointment for the scan should be confirmed over the phone with the respective branches first as tests may not be performed every day.

    Special Note For Whole Body FDG Scan: For diabetic patients, please inform us at time of booking so needful guidance can be given to you. Whole Body – FDG PET-CT Scan can only be performed if blood sugar is less than 150 mg/dL at the time of testing. In case your blood sugar levels are not under control, please plan your appointment after controlling your blood sugar levels with your treating physician. Do not consume excess sugar/starch/alcohol one night before test. For best results, please abstain from smoking for atleast 3 days prior to your test.
    Refund Policy: The PET-CT medicinal dose such as FDG/DOTA/PSMA are time-sensitive and deteriorate if you are late for your appointment. In case of a same-day cancellation, no-show or late-show – this amount will be forfeited. Please ensure to inform us atleast a day prior for any impending cancellation, so that we could delay the procurement of the isotope for your consumption.Cancellation charges of Rs. 5000/- will be applicable in case of no-show, late-show or cancellation after 8pm the day prior of test.
